I've been with LW for more than 8 years. I have numerous servers at LW hosting my applications along with several services like Security and Backups... Pricing: Overpriced dedicated servers compared to the competition. There's no choice for small NVMe storage, instead they keep offering 2TB minimum which is overpriced again. Who needs 2TB? Especially for startup company with couple of websites? So basically to get dedicated AMD with NVMe, we have to pay minimum $400/month
Billing and sales: OK, sometimes they are lost and they can't explain in details what the customer needs or takes them longer to find an answer.
Client portal: It doesn't work half of the time and we are forced to use it (switched from the old one). There are bugs, it's glitching, orders and coupons doesn't go to the cart sometimes...
Account managers: We have account managers if we are resellers (or basically if we spend good amount of money). Seems like they are so busy and they don't have time to answer or help if we need anything. Instead they wait couple of days to answer us, which is too late sometimes. We, the small businesses are working too, if we need help we need it that moment. If we go to the billing department and ask a question, we are transferred to our "account managers" and back in the same circle again, waiting for an answer. It's irritating sometimes.
The team at Liquid Web are second to none! I have been with them for close to 7 years! I wouldn't dream of leaving. Militant customer service. They are like the Seal Team 6 of Web Hosting Platforms, always have my back!
