I have been a client for 11 years. server.ecepts.net was my server. They started out much like liquidweb is now, reliable, excellent equipment, English speaking telephone support 24/7 that was super helpful.
A few years ago, just stopped all phone support.
After that they shut my server completely down while I was on vacation (after being with them for 9 years and never missing a payment, they shut my server and all sites down over a $65 payment that didn't go through on a credit card).
In June/July 2018, my service was down/spotty for 45 days while they corrected a server node issue.
Over the last 2 months I have been migrating away from them to another company, but I needed to do it one site at a time (and updating each site as I go).
Today, again my sites were down & could not log into root. You cant all anyone, so you open a ticket, or chat support.
After I get on with chat support, bingo sites are working now (what the hell was the problem... we will never know).
I moved my companies from the Servint platform due to their poor performance, and not being PCI complaint. Servint attempted to charge me an additional 30 days, after I moved from them. You can not charge for services you do not provide. Credit Card company ruled in our favor for services not provided on the charge back. Servint invoiced us for charge back fees. This company does not understand business principles or Credit Card rules at all. Would you seriously trust your business with them?
I wrote a positive review about this company awhile aho and I want to take it back. My websites just gradually slowed down and I've been having high CPU usage for no apparent reason. I don't have that much traffic. Server ALWAYS crashes. So when they say 99.99% uptime, that's a lie. I have an unsolved ticket for one week now because of the server crashes with no response. This company used to be a good hosting company. Not anymore. Moving to another reliable host.
I have no idea why this company is having bad reviews on this website but they have been extremely helpful with me. I got a VPS and they configured my server, transferred all of my domains, files, databases, email ... etc, from my previous company and even configured my DNS on my domain provider. Technical support is great they would do whatever you tell them and install any plugin you request. They even offered to fix an issue with my ticket system that they have nothing to do with. I'd definitely recommend them.
I stayed with them almost 8 years, but last year was really terrible: very very poor support. So I decided to go away. During my research I found that Servint is overpriced, I found much better VPS, fully managed + SSD for less (I save around $20 per month). It's sad: Servint was on of the best hosting providers several years ago. Not recommended anymore.
We have been with Servint for over 8 years. The support used to be an email/phone call away. Now it force you to use their ticketing system, and with a very slow response. For me I seldom use the support who could not remember the login/password, it takes me long long time to get my site issue fixed.
I am hosting an ecommerce site at servint, it costs me a lot of money for those down time. Avoid this company at all cost.
We've been with ServInt for over seven years and it was great at the beginning, good speeds, great customer service, competitive pricing, but in the last year or so things have dramatically changed. The site is experiencing horrible lags, is frequently down, prices have gone up and customer service has been lacking.
We are switching hosts now, because we are trying to attract some ad revenue, but which advertiser in their right mind would invest into a site that has trouble with on time and when it's on has speed issues worse than a slug stuck in molasses in winter...?
A sad development for a once great hosting company...
7 year customer comes to an end. When they first started out they upgraded for free, now the VPS is uncompetitive. Similar setup at competitors are HALF the price. First tier support has been outsourced and it's extremely poor. Had to leave because of performance and support degradation. Can no longer recommend.
