price as a starter plan for the first 3 years. Instant chatted with HostPapa representative on a weekend & within 1/2 hour had plan changed.
While the whole website building activity has taken a bit of getting my head around it, I've found HostPapa to be relatively easy to use.

your purchase?? I guarantee you this is not what 1&1 stands for. They are cheats. If you do not check every bill they charge you for, you will discover too late that they are over charging you. And when asked, they will inform you, that you only have 8 weeks to report it. EX. You have a contract that stated you pay for the router for 2 years and then its yours. At 1&1 they do not automatically stop collecting the router charge after 2 yrs, unless u call them. Even after calling, they inform you, that you have to tell them to cancel it, otherwise they don't. When you tell them to cancel it, they tell you that they will have to put you in a new binding contract for 2 more extra years. And when you refuse, they say you have to stay in that old contract and pay the 5 extra euros. A more stupid system, I have not encountered. They seem cheaper and perhaps are cheaper than other providers, for that you get rude customer service, rules that make no sense and best believe they will try to charge you and take more money every chance they get. Run away. 1&1 is horrible!!!
And if you are about to get in it... please read the fine print!! The smaller the letters, the more important the message!

r my allotted email storage. This has never happened before, and I've had easily as many emails in my boxes. I checked it out and figured it was an old forgotten account that had filled up with spam, I deleted it and had someone through web chat reinstate my service. However, I still received threatening emails that my account would be suspended. I replied and said that it had been resolved, but was told that 2 of my accounts (between 500mb & 700mb each - yes MEGABYTES) were still over the quota. I'm certain these accounts have always been around this big, yet now I have to upgrade to get more storage, yet, of the 97GB allotted to the entire account, I'm only using 1.35GB of it. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.
