to help you, or maybe even doesn't want to take the time. I've had a few of those even at InMotion. But the vast majority of the time, the First Tier people want to be helpful, they are knowledgeable, and when they don't have an immediate answer they will do their best to get one from their higher tier technicians. The rare times I've had a problem that I knew was not caused by my own coding, I've been very pleased with their response time and their willingness to help. I've been with them since 2013 and I can recall only one time where the person blamed it on my code immediately without bothering to do any research. Of course it turned out that it **wasn't** my code -- it was a glitch in an htaccess file that was apparently caused by CPanel. I never touch htaccess so I knew it wasn't something that I'd done. The second person I talked with was much more helpful and he troubleshooted the file, told me the problem, and he fixed it himself. That is awesome service!

mally allow access. I called tech support and told them that no one could access InMotionHosting from my location and was told everything on their end was fine and that it HAD to be a problem on my end. I contracted my IT person to remedy the situation and, after two visits, it was determined that it was, indeed, InMotionHosting's fault. I re-contacted them and was told that, although their tech was mistaken, they would not pay my IT company's invoice because they hadn't told me to contract a third party. The "supervisor", Seth, was a condescending pissant who basically told me this whole thing was MY fault and refused to accept ANY culpability. With the number of reputable web hosting companies available I have no idea why someone would do business with these people unless, like me, they were already locked into a contract.

ties on their server. Bought the package: September 17th. Got suspended October 18th. Exactly in time so I couldn't build a case via Paypal and request my money back. From what I read here, most if not ALL of the reviews are "ordered". The situation is pretty screwed up with them.
So the email stated I do phishing activities and there was a report coming from some site with this warning.
Aside from the incredible perfect timing they've chosen to warn me, there is waaay more info in my defense.
The thing is - and I have uncontestable proof - my website had been uploaded September 24th. Nobody had logged in there since.
According to their printscreens, the corrupted phishing files, are inside a folder created on September 25th. The files INSIDE this folder, are all created sometimes in June. I didn't even have an account with them in June :)
At first, I thought this is a hacking case - and if it was, their server got hacked. I have the exact backup with the files I have uploaded September 24th and everything is spotless.
What bothered me the most is that I did everything in my power to correct the situation. I have recommended the deletion of the affected domain - and it happened almost immediately after I have seen the case. Then, I wasn't proposed a refund. Then, there was no investigation of logged-in sessions. AND the email came 1 day after a possible Paypal dispute was out of the question.
Not about the money, but about the time spent to investigate their scam, because I consider myself a fair and honest person. The accusation is simply TERRIBLE. Makes you feel like crap.
Stay away from these scammers.
And don't believe any review written online. They do the reviewing themselves.
