ady had previous experience with Knownhost support for a different website I manage, and so I quickly stood up a new account and moved all 14 of my domains from the competitor account to Knownhost.
One of the issues above that was affecting my site at the previous webhost was also affecting it once it moved to Knownhost. However, unlike my previous host who was unable/unwilling to help resolve the issue (that was going on two weeks with a resolution), Knownhost support was able to diagnose and resolve within 30 minutes.
One of the best webhosting companies I have ever used and their support is excellent!

alerting me to the files that were malicious. I deleted all of them except one (which I missed by mistake). Because of this, on a Friday night, they shut my site down - took it off line. Then they give me the spin that their 'abuse team' is different from their "support team" and they only work 9-5 monday to friday - no after hours support. So my site is now offline until Monday at the earliest. Dreadful service, in no way fit for a professional business to rely on. Please learn from my mistake, avoid these guys at all costs.

and were able to help me. I used one of their higher levels of support. Then, I was sold on using AWS and letting Rackspace manage my cloud. I ponied up for the Aviator service. Again, at first it seemed like a good solution for us. Then they went public and everything fell apart. Long wait times for support, reminders sent over and over about service, etc. I started to get responses such as, "I'm not very experienced in this."
What's worse is that my dedicated account manager never once followed up with me to help with audits or reviews as promised. Several times I'd get an email from someone saying they were my new manager and when I reached out to learn more I got nothing.
Finally, we decided to switch management companies. Enough was enough. The Reverse Authorization process takes 3 MONTHS!! Meanwhile, you are billed for their horrible support. I'd love to paste the support thread here because you just can write the kind of responses I got. After 3 months I asked why this isn't complete. They said "Well it takes up to three months." I was like "Uh yeah, it's been three months." Next day I get a response that says "We see this has been mis-filled by AWS and so we are trying to expedite this." Seriously?! They also blamed Covid! For a cloud company? They offered to reimburse my fees for the last 4 months that I waited and now I get my receipt and they paid a total of 1 month! This is insane.
If you are looking to grow your business, do NOT trust this company. They have no intention of helping you or supporting you. They care about your money and THAT IS IT! Avoid this company with all haste.
