RamNode’s Standard VPS 4GB tier passed every performance and stress test I ran, with strong disk I/O and zero packet loss on network testing. The hardware holds up well, though getting from signup to an active order takes more steps than it should.
RamNode operates data centers in New Jersey, Los Angeles, and the Netherlands, with a Singapore location listed as coming soon. The company has run its own infrastructure since 2012.
RamNode offers a three-day refund window on your first payment, not on renewals. Bitcoin payments and software licenses are excluded from refunds entirely, and canceling early carries a $50 fee.
RamNode accepts credit and debit cards, PayPal, and cryptocurrency through BitPay and Payssion, along with regional options like Alipay and WeChat Pay. Payment methods other than a card require you to maintain a funded cloud credit balance.
