o be, delete and start again. That would be OK but I need to keep the 5 year email history, you'd think that would be simple and also that Arvixe would want to help clean the 1700 malware files attracted to my 3 NEW site in 3 days. Alas no!!!
Apparently a reset means the backup taken monthly, weekly and daily are also deleted, BUT that depend who you speak to on chat,. some appear to think its possible to restore from the back up, and frankly logic would hope so.! The backup I took created abuse warning and then the account was suspended for abuse of a GB quota that isn't written anywhere and is supposed to be "unlimited".. The solution; I have to download the files via FTP, the certificates arvixe has for the site are 1 year old so the FTP keep stopping, 5 days later and I am still working on getting the files downloaded. WINSC works better than filezilla because of the cert issue.
Lets hope I can get this resolved. It could have been so simple, if they'd done from their side.. it would have probably taken an hour or two.
In short: STAY AWAY, WELL AWAY.

A few days after the problem was fixed they suspended my server without a warning for two days ignoring my urgent messages for help and without being able to reach them on the phone. Fortunately, I had a backup of all my files and databases and I was able to move to another hosting company because I didn't know if or when my server would be back online. They said they suspened my server to protect reputation but sInce the problem was fixed and given that they were ignoring me for support I can only assume that they think it's a good idea to punish users instead of helping them which is a very unprofessional behavior.
