Nexcess ticks all the boxes, and more. I have had no problems reaching them via tickets, and they are accessible on phone without long waits. Tickets are resolved courteously, comprehensively, and with a human touch.
I once had a mid-level issue, and Tier 2 support (and management) dug issues in deep, gave me a very detailed RCA, and helped fix it comprehensively. Another time, they helped troubleshoot a problem brought about by a bad add-on when they could have just told me that this is not in purview of hosting.
My experiences have been overwhelmingly positive. Hosting multiple M1 sites with them, and can't be happier with the speed and performance either.

o be, delete and start again. That would be OK but I need to keep the 5 year email history, you'd think that would be simple and also that Arvixe would want to help clean the 1700 malware files attracted to my 3 NEW site in 3 days. Alas no!!!
Apparently a reset means the backup taken monthly, weekly and daily are also deleted, BUT that depend who you speak to on chat,. some appear to think its possible to restore from the back up, and frankly logic would hope so.! The backup I took created abuse warning and then the account was suspended for abuse of a GB quota that isn't written anywhere and is supposed to be "unlimited".. The solution; I have to download the files via FTP, the certificates arvixe has for the site are 1 year old so the FTP keep stopping, 5 days later and I am still working on getting the files downloaded. WINSC works better than filezilla because of the cert issue.
Lets hope I can get this resolved. It could have been so simple, if they'd done from their side.. it would have probably taken an hour or two.
In short: STAY AWAY, WELL AWAY.

dpress sites. The process to move my sites from LiquidWeb to Nexcess was very cumbersome - one would think that because these two companies share management the transfer process would be easy. Nope . It took several weeks and for each site I had to create a separate ticket. I finally got the sites moved over and whenever there is a problem there is no phone support (or at least no one has ever picked up). They use a ticket system and response time is very slow - usually I end up waiting several days and have to constantly demand attention. I regret moving to Nexcess - they are a bad choice if you value customer service.
